His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province, received Omar Bakhashwain, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Ettifaq Club, and a number of board members, at his office in the Emirate Diwan on Monday.

His Royal Highness the Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province praised the state's support for the sports sector and the resulting achievements at the local and international levels. He also commended the role of sports clubs in serving the community and spreading the culture of sports, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

Bakhashwain presented His Royal Highness the Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province with an explanation of the club's future plans, highlighting the Board of Directors' commitment to fulfilling the aspirations of the fans and enhancing the club's position in various competitions. He noted that the club recently won the King Abdulaziz Quality Award, becoming the first Saudi sports club to do so, reflecting its commitment to applying the highest standards of excellence and institutional quality.

Bakhashwain expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Royal Highness the Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province for the support and attention he has given to the sports sector in the region, emphasizing the club's commitment to continuing to achieve further accomplishments in the coming period.
