He is the third grandson of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and was born on 23 Dhul-Hijjah 1405 AH, corresponding to September 9, 1985.
His father, Prince Fahd bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, was the eldest son of King Salman and previously served as the Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province.
